Story Behind the Wine: The famous Japanese wine manga The Drops of God (神の雫) featured Château Mont-Pérat 2001 in its very first volume. In the story, Château Mont-Pérat 2001 famously defeats the iconic American estate Opus One, earning recognition as a “noble wine for the people.” It is even likened in the manga to the band Queen—classic yet strikingly modern.
